So... Kinda silly, maybe, but for the first time ever, I followed American idol this season... I loved Kris from the beginning and met Adam, so hoped... My hopes were misplaced. Danny Gokey (#3) would have been my pick had I known that he had recently lost his wife, Sophia, to complications of surgery for a congenital heart defect. He has started a foundation in her name, supporting many causes. www.sophiasheart.org Wondering if we can get on the website en masse and ask him to use his new celebrity to bring awareness and funds to CHD research. I'm sincerely sorry for his loss, and it sounds like she was an amazing, loving (and as we all hope for, NORMAL) woman.

Usually we follow American Idol, but this year I just didn't have time to get into it.
I am also sorry for his loss. Looking at the website, she seemed like an amazing person, full of lots of love and compassion.
