Good luck with the Glenn! My son's Glenn was the easiest surgery we have had yet. The recovery was pretty painful with his increased blood flow, but we were home in under a week! If you are on the CSU floor, ask your nurses about the shower. You can probably trade rooms when another patient goes home, but there are private restrooms in each pod that have a shower and bathtub too. We used them all of the time since we were living at the hospital for a few months. Good luck and keep us posted!

I know it's stressful, but I agree with Alli, the Glenn was by far the easiest with the fastest recovery. And you'll be amazed at the difference it makes. They are just sturdier after the Glenn and can really begin to develop.
Good luck!

Praying for your little guy!! Sorry you had to go to the hospital, let me know if you need help with anything? Sleep is so important but almost impossible with a heart baby lol good luck on the cath today and surgery Friday!!! Like everyone said the Glenn is so easy. Kylie only had a few bumps, but still got to go home 6 days later. Sending heart hugs!!! Chrissie

They are sending us home too risky back in three weeks. They found that the hole they had made with the raskin was closing making his stats drop and color change we had it enlarged day before yesterday.....So home with oxygen for time being.
